Sea moss is a red algae species found along the coastal regions of the Carribbean islands, Europe and Ireland (Hence the name Irish Sea moss/ Irish moss).  There are a variety of sea moss (Chondrus Crispus species and Genus Garcilaria). Both are pack with vitamins and minerals.  Chondrus Crispus has more of a dark purple look to it (it can also have a dark yellow, green, or red look) & Genus Garcilaria “as know as Jamaican Sea Moss” has more of a golden look to it. Typically a Golden Color. This sea moss is typically golden, but can also vary in color like purple (some call it purple sea moss).

Our blends are required to be refrigeratored  at all times and will be safe to consume within 4 weeks (from the date provided on the top label).  If you purchase more than 1 jar, please keep the other jar in the freezer until you’re ready to consume (then restore in the refrigerator).
